As the Jets get set to take on the red-hot Blues tonight a number of familiar faces were back on the ice today for morning skate in Winnipeg. After taking some friendly fire in Vegas and missing the last game in Utah, Nikolaj Ehlers was skating with his usual line. A player who has been on the ice for a bit with his teammates is Neal Pionk who is working his way back from a lower-body injury that was nagging him and has kept him out of the lineup since March 11th.
Not skating with the team today were Colin Miller, Rasmus Kupari and Gabriel Vilardi.

This is what he had to say about the five players:
On Ehlers: “Game-time. Game-time. Got out there and got to skate which was great. We’ll just see how he is this afternoon and take it from there.”
On Pionk: “He’s real close. It’s all about conditioning for him.”
On Miller: “He’s sick. We’ll see. We’ll go game-time.”
On Kupari: “He skated today. He was full condition skate before we went out on the ice. First one.”
On Vilardi: “Gabe’s around. We’re getting close to see about him going out on the ice. He’s up and running here a little but more. We’ll just follow along with him, kinda see where he’s at.”
