Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel says Morgan Barron not an option for rest of regular season

The Jets have just four games left in the regular season and just five days ago head coach Scott Arniel declared Morgan Barron week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

So it comes as no surprise that he wasn’t skating this morning in Winnipeg as the Jets get set for a huge game against the Flyers this evening.

After skate the bench boss was asked for an update and he simply confirmed that Barron won’t be a player in any of the remaining regular season games. But he did indicate that if they qualify for the playoff then he might be.

“Bear. We won’t see Bear for the rest of these four games. Get in the playoffs there’s a chance.”

Tough news for number 36.
