Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel said Dylan Samberg has a broken wrist (out 6-8 weeks)

On Saturday after the game between the Jets and Flames we heard from head coach Scott Arniel who indicated that defenceman Dylan Samberg had a “freak accident” which necessitated him leaving the game and requiring further evaluation.

Unfortunately being at the game we didn’t see a replay, just the player heading quickly to the dressing room after a hit, and the stream from Winnipeg cut out during that time. However, the feed in Calgary was uninterrupted which TSN featured on their broadcast:

Samberg wasn’t listed as participating in either group today for Winnipeg. Following skate Arniel provided us with the following update on 54 saying he has a broken wrist and will be out 6-8 weeks.

Tough news for the Jets as they lose their second pairing Dman and a key part of the penalty killing unit.
