Despite the dueling narratives between Jets coach Scott Arniel and Blues bench boss Jim Montgomery the bottom line is, however he had to leave the game last night, the home team was without the services of top line centre Mark Scheifele who did not return after the 1st intermission.

Worth noting that Scheifele played until the end of the 1st period. Montgomery said “he didn’t come back after he got rocked by Faksa”. But his last shift (50 seconds) came in the final minute which was a few minutes after the Faksa hit.
Today the Jets were preparing to depart for St. Louis where they will play game 6 on Friday night. When we spoke with head coach Scott Arniel he provided this update on number 55:
“He won’t be coming on the trip”.
