Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness says Cole Perfetti is “done for a while yet”

Back in February Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti sustained an upper-body injury against the Devils in New Jersey and was ruled out on February 24th by Rick Bowness for a minimum of eight weeks.

After practice today Jets head coach Rick Bowness was asked for an update:

“He’s done for a while yet. Nothing new. Nothing has changed. He’s around anyways. That’s the only thing that’s changed, he’s physically here.”

When asked for a timeline on his return he indicated:

“It’s hard to pinpoint, to give you an exact time but it’s probably later than that.”

So no earlier return for Perfetti.

With him in the lineup they went 31-19-1 and without him they’ve gone 11-12-2.
