The Jets lost Josh Morrissey and Adam Lowry in last night’s 5-4 win over the Panthers with both listed as “very doubtful” by bench boss Rick Bowness. He did say he would have an update today ahead of puck drop between Winnipeg and Tampa Bay.
He met with media in attendance including Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet and the head coach indicated that:
– Adam Lowry is feeling better and would take warm-up skate. He will be a game-time decision.
– Pierre-Luc Dubois, who they were hoping would be able to join them on the road trip but was expected to miss the two games in Florida, said they were not expecting him to join them. Said there would have to be a big improvement between now and Tuesday.
– Josh Morrissey would not play today but they are hopeful he can play in Carolina on Tuesday.
