Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness names alternate captains (Scheifele, Morrissey & Lowry)

With the removal of the ‘C’ from Blake Wheeler ahead of the 2022-23 season the Jets were expected to use alternate captains during the year. It will came as no surprise to anyone that head coach Rick Bowness announced during his media session today that the three players who will be wearing an ‘A’ this season are:

Mark Scheifele
Adam Lowry
Josh Morrissey

Both Scheifele and Morrissey wore an ‘A’ last season and Lowry is one of the most respected voices in (and out) of the room.
