The Jets picked up a big win over the Panthers on Saturday night but it didn’t come without a cost.
At the end of the 2nd period Josh Morrissey appeared to be in some pain when he made a move at the blueline while defending. He would come out for single shift in the 3rd period but then went back down the tunnel and didn’t return to the game.
With just over five minutes left in the 3rd period the team lost Adam Lowry after he was taken out by Panthers defenceman Marc Staal with the old reverse hit. You could see 17 think about staying in the game for the next few seconds but then headed off the ice.
After the game Jets head coach Rick Bowness indicated that “both are very, very doubtful for tomorrow”.
