Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness confirms Vlad Namestnikov to miss tomorrow (maybe Monday)

Jets forward Vlad Namestnikov left the game last night against the Oilers in the 3rd period. After the game head coach Rick Bowness said he was dealing with a lower-body injury “he was hurting”. Asked if it occurred when he got tangled up with Darnell Nurse and he confirmed it was the source of the injury.

Today at practice the versatile forward wasn’t on the ice.

In the Matt Frost Media Centre after practice head coach Rick Bowness provided an update.

“Lower-body. Won’t play tomorrow. Probably won’t play Monday. I’d say a couple of days and we’ll go from there.”

Looks like David Gustafsson comes back into the lineup.
