Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice picks up his 700th win

The Jets snapped a three game losing streak on Sunday night by defeating Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers 1-0 in the shootout and it wasn’t just Winnipeg’s fifth win of the season. It was also bench boss Paul Maurice’s 700th career regular season win in the NHL.

Maurice’s coaching career began with the Hartford Whalers back on November 7, 1995, as his squad beat the Sharks 7–3.

His players had quite a bit to say as did he following the win.  To listen click here.

Update:

Today he was asked about which coach influenced him the most before he won his first game, which coach has since, how he sticks to core beliefs but adapts and his experience in the KHL.  You can listen to that here.
