Winnipeg Jets have recalled Axel Jonsson-Fjällby from the Moose on emergency conditions

The Moose are set to leave tomorrow for Belleville where they will kick off a six-game road trip but as expected they will be doing it absent at least one player since we now know the Jets will be without Rasmus Kupari for the next 4-7 weeks.

As I noted earlier today (in our Moose Practice Report) given the line that Axel Jonsson-Fjällby was skating with today, my guess was he would be the player who got the recall by Winnipeg and that’s just who the team PR announced would be coming up to the NHL club.

The speedy Swede had three goals and two assists for five points in 10 games although he, much like the rest of the club, didn’t stand out particularly positively during this poor four game homestand which saw the Moose go 0-4-0.
