Winnipeg Jets have reassigned Arvid Holm from the taxi squad to Moose

Moose goalie and Jets prospect Arvid Holm (2017 6th rounder) was added to the taxi squad by the Jets back on New Year’s Day although he was subsequently placed in covid protocol five days later.

Today JetsPR indicated that Holm had been reassigned to the Moose which obviously means he is out of covid protocol.

It is a curious move given the team reassigned Mikhail Berdin this morning also to their AHL club which leaves them with no insurance ahead of their trip to Detroit. However it is worth noting that the Moose will be traveling to Michigan on Thursday for their series against Grand Rapids this upcoming weekend so it wouldn’t be a difficulty to recall one of these two netminders if necessary.
