Winnipeg Jets have re-assigned goalie Eric Comrie to the St. John’s IceCaps

The St. John’s IceCaps, in conjunction with the Winnipeg Jets, announced that goaltender Eric Comrie has been re-assigned to St. John’s.

Comrie, 19, played 40 games for the Tri-City Americans (WHL), going 20-19-1 with a 2.87 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage with one shutout.

For his career, the former second round draft pick of the Jets played 168 games, all with Tri-City, compiling a record of 85-64-15 with a 2.67 goals-against average, a .916 save percentage and 10 shutouts.

The native of Edmonton, AB also suited up in a pair of games with the IceCaps last season, dropping both decisions.
