Winnipeg Jets have four players clear waivers; can be assigned to the Manitoba Moose

On Thursday the Jets made their third cuts of training camp sending seven players down to the AHL, four of which required waivers to clear. Those four were:

F – Mason Shaw
F – Dominic Toninato

The only player I think who might have been interesting to other clubs was 2019 2nd rounder Simon Lundmark who had a strong training camp for the Jets. The right-shot defenceman is Dylan DeMelo lite and is often overlooked because he doesn’t have a lot of sizzle to his game.

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet confirmed they all cleared.

Manitoba will benefit from having these four join the club in addition to the other three (Milic, Bauer and Kuzmin) who were also sent down on Thursday. The Moose are off today but will be back on the ice on Saturday.
