Winnipeg Jets forward Shawn Matthias injury update

Back on March 13th a fight between Shawn Matthias and the Predators Cody McLeod ended the Jets forward’s season.  “As soon as he grabbed my shoulder it just came out” Matthias told us in his end of season media scrum also indicating that this was a pre-existing condition that went all the way back to his Junior days.

Today we got an update via his Instagram account indicating that his shoulder rehab is progressing:

It was an injury plagued 2016-17 season for the Jets forward but it sounds like he will be healthy for the first time in quite awhile when the 2017-18 year kicks off.
