The Jets win their third straight as they finally give Eric Comrie some run support rolling over the Flames 5-2. With the victory they improve to 34-14-3 on the season and tie the Capitals for most points in the NHL.

Notable:
There was some uncertainty whether Josh Morrissey would be good to go tonight but he was able to fight through the illness going through the team and play. Only lineup change was Eric Comrie would get a shot in net at defeating the Flames after losing to them eight days ago.
Winger Kyle Connor is a human cheat code. His 27th of the season was a beauty.
David Gustafsson picked up an assist on the opening goal of the game which was his third straight game.
Goalie Eric Comrie wasn’t tested too often in the first 20 but he made some nice stops.
With 50.4 seconds left in the 2nd the Jets make it a 3-1 game as Gabriel Vilardi gets his 21st of the season. What a shot by 13. Great drop pass by Dylan Samberg.
Gabriel Vilardi got his third point of the game as he gets his second goal of the game to make it a 4-1 game for Winnipeg on the PP. Just ridiculous what 13 can do in tight.
You just cannot take a penalty against the Jets. This is off and on Mark Scheifele’s stick so quick that it’s in the back of the net before Vladar can react. That’s his 28th of the season. It’s a four point night for Gabriel Vilardi (2G 2A).
Multipoint Game:
Gabriel Vilardi 2G 2A
Kyle Connor 1G 2A
Mark Scheifele 1G 1A
