Winnipeg Jets fail to punch their ticket to the playoffs as Buffalo Sabres win 5-3

Plenty of goals scored, but Manitoban James Reimer carried his Sabres to a 5-3 victory over the Jets which meant Winnipeg couldn’t punch their own ticket to the playoffs. That could still happen later today if the Blues lose to the Predators but with the regulation loss the Jets drop to 48-19-4.
