Winnipeg Jets extend Haydn Fleury on a two-year contract

When the Jets season ended it was clear that Haydn Fleury wanted to stick around after he signed a one-year deal with Winnipeg last offseason saying at the end of season “I’d love to stay”. He got his wish as the team announced they had signed him to a two-year deal.

It’s worth $950k per season.

Winnipeg certainly has a crowded (9) blueline for next season:
Morrissey, DeMelo, Pionk, Samberg (RFA), Schenn, Miller, Stanley, Fleury and Heinola

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
