Notable:
Before this game even got underway there was plenty of notable things set to take place. Sean Monahan is playing in his 83rd game of the season which to the best of my memory has never happened before with a Jets player.
Two NHL debuts as Jets prospects Brad Lambert (2022 1st) wearing 93 and Nikita Chibrikov (2021 2nd) wearing 90 both got to play tonight after excellent seasons with the Moose.
First shot for the Canucks (technically) and they scored as the signals get crossed up and Dylan DeMelo tried to clear a puck and it goes in off Conor Garland.
Gabriel Vilardi showed off some moooves and he tied the game 1-1 with his 22nd goal of the season. Brad Lambert got his first NHL point although not initially with the secondary assist.
In the middle frame off a nice rush Mason Appleton found Cole Perfetti who found the back of the net to give the Jets a 2-1 lead. Perfetti needed to get to 20 goals to hit a 212K bonus.
Nikita Chibrikov got his first NHL goal and the Jets have a 3-2 lead. Hard forecheck, makes Demko fumble the puck and then he buried it.
Long-range shot by Cole Perfetti iced it with an empty netter.
The finish with 199 goals against which means they win the William Jennings Trophy.
Multipoint Game:
Cole Perfetti 2G
