Winnipeg Jets Dylan DeMelo out next two games with a lower-body injury

Veteran defenceman Dylan DeMelo won’t be a player tonight against the Flyers nor in the game on Monday against the Blues according to Jets head coach Rick Bowness who indicated in his media availability that the right side Dman is out with a lower-body injury.

“Just lower-body injury last game. He’d been playing with it, trying to play through it but eventually it comes to a point you can’t play with it so we’re at that point now. The All-Star break clearly next week so we expect him to be back when we come back against Chicago.”

DeMelo is having a solid season paired alongside Josh Morrissey. He has two goals and 14 assists in 46 games which is already two more assists than he had in 76 games the season prior.
