Winnipeg Jets Dmitry Kulikov switches jersey number from 5 to 7

No word if he asked Ben Chiarot (2016-19), Keaton Ellerby (2014-15) or Derek Meech (2012-13) but the Jets announced that defenceman Dmitry Kulikov has switched his number from 5 to number 7 for the 2019-20 season. He wore 7 when playing in Russia, 7 when he played for the Panthers (his first NHL team) and 77 for his one season in Buffalo.  With Chiarot off in Montreal Kulikov will assume his preferred number.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
