It’s been a year since we saw Jets prospect Markus Loponen (2024 5th) who spent last season in the WHL with the Victoria Royals. He spoke about the benefit he gained from coming to North America early to acclimatize to the game/ice surface, how his game developed there, heading back to Liiga to continue his growth as a player and starting his military service in Finland.
