It was an agonizing Day 2 of the NHL Draft for new Jets prospect Viktor Klingsell who waited until the 5th round of the Draft before he heard his name called by Winnipeg. He had actually turned the Draft off while he waited to find out if he’d have a new organization to call home. Of course doesn’t hurt to have so many Swedes in the organization including Winnipeg’s first rounder from 2025 Sascha Boumedienne as their dads played together in Sweden and they faced each other growing up. Lots of insight from this confident prospect.
