Winnipeg Jets defenceman Dylan Samberg named to Team USA for World Championship

Minnesotan Dylan Samberg will be putting on a Team USA jersey for the World Championship which are being held in Finland and Latvia starting in seven days time.

The NHL rookie completed his first full campaign in the NHL with the Jets as the 2017 2nd rounder became an almost everyday NHLer with Winnipeg playing 63 games this season. He finished the year with two goals and six assists and has solidified his spot in the lineup moving forward.

This isn’t the first time he has worn a USA uniform as he competed twice at the World Junior U-20 Championships.
