The Jets, much like the rest of Manitoba, are on an absolute heater going 8-1-1 so far in the month of December as they defeated the top team in the Atlantic by a final score of 5-1 for Winnipeg over Boston. They got contributions up and down the lineup as they improve to 20-9-3 and leapfrog back into top spot in the Central. Quite a statement game by the home team as they remain without a regulation loss to an Eastern Team (9-0-3).

Notable:
After having a goal disallowed seems appropriate that Josh Morrissey scored the first goal of the game for Winnipeg. 44 had himself a game right from puck drop.
The Macarena will be played over and over and over (and nobody will complain) as Gabriel Vilardi scored for the fifth straight game (6G 6A during this streak) when he gave the Jets a 2-0 lead over Boston. He is up to seven (7) goals in 14 games this season for Winnipeg. Remarkable.
Picking up assists on the first couple of goals for the Jets gives Mark Scheifele 24 in 32 games which is over a 60 assist pace.
Importantly the power play got going (twice) courtesy of the second unit and specifically Nino Niederreiter who scored his 9th and 10th goals of the season with the man advantage as the second unit comes through.
Captain Adam Lowry scored the 99th goal of his career as his sixth of the season helped put a bow on this one. He’s on pace to match his career high for goals with 15.
The Jets have gone 22 straight games allowing three goals or less which ties the NHL record.
Connor Hellebuyck with another fantastic performance as he made 24 saves on 25 shots. He finished the game with a .960 save %.
Multipoint Game:
Nino Niederreiter 2G 1A
Gabriel Vilardi 1G 1A
Mark Scheifele 2A
