The good times keep on rolling for the Jets as they pick up their 10th win of the season in game number 11 as the Nikolaj Ehlers show was on display picking up his fifth career hat trick to power Winnipeg to the 6-2 win over Columbus.

Notable:
For the second straight game Winnipeg opened the scoring as the human entry zone Nikolaj Ehlers gained the Jackets zone and ripped a shot past Elvis Merzlikins.
Columbus managed to tie the game as they took advantage of a friendly bounce behind the net where JVR got the puck out front to Sean Kuraly who tied it but then Nikolaj Ehlers would help the visitors regain the edge four minutes later.
Early in the middle frame some very good work by the Lowry line concluded with Mason Appleton burying a Neal Pionk shot to give the Jets a two goal edge. Pionk up to 10 assists in 11 games.
But then former Jets Sean Monahan struck with a tip on the power play to make it a one goal game again.
Just as the 2nd period was winding down Nikolaj Ehlers completed the hat trick which was the first for the Jets this season and fifth of his career to make it a 4-2 game.
The power play found the back of the net as Josh Morrissey blasted a Scheifele pass to make it 5-2 and they weren’t done there.
Kyle Connor made an absolutely filthy couple of moves to set up Gabriel Vilardi for his fourth of the season. Connor now has an 11 game points streak to start the season.
