Connor Hellebuyck left practice early; Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel indicates 37 “wasn’t feeling quite right”

As if things weren’t already a bit ominous without Dylan Samberg who will be out for the next 6-8 weeks there was today’s news that Connor Hellebuyck left the ice today after just a few minutes of getting warmed up.

When we had a chance to hear from head coach Scott Arniel after skate he indicated:

“Didn’t feel quite right so he just came off there.”

When asked if he will make his scheduled start tomorrow in St. Paul tomorrow against the Wild the Jets bench boss said he will have to wait and see.

At the end of the scrum he was asked if this was possibly related to illness and Arniel said:

“Wasn’t feeling quite right.”

We will have to wait and see if he is in morning skate but that could be a tough way to start the week for the Jets.
