Winnipeg Jets coach Rick Bowness indicates Brenden Dillon is day-to-day after suffering cut in game 3

Jets lost game 3 by a final score of 6-2 and they also lost defenceman Brenden Dillon who suffered what appeared to be a serious cut to his hand after they got into it after the final buzzer.

There was plenty of concern for his well being and how it might impact his availability for the rest of the series between the Jets and Avalanche.

After practice head coach Rick Bowness provided an update saying “Basically it’s day-to-day. We know the gash was there but our doctors did a fantastic job of stitching him up and there’s no damage and that’s the most important thing. So we’ll keep him as day-to-day.”

Here is the video:

Seems unlikely he plays in game 4 tomorrow afternoon but stay tuned.
