Today at practice only one player was missing before the Jets took off for Chicago being Nikolaj Ehlers. It seems like the dynamic Dane has been dealing with something of late as he has gone ten games without scoring a goal.

Following skate Jets head coach Rick Bowness was asked for a status update on Ehlers and this is what he said after advising that he was dealing with a nagging injury:
“You hope he’s feeling better tomorrow but again if it’s sore we’re not going to make it any worse let’s put it that way.”
But he did say that the expectation is he will play tomorrow against the Blackhawks.
