Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice scrum from PNC Arena

Coach Maurice –  Being back at PNC Arena.  Chance to say hello to old friends.  How gratifying has the surge been?  What is the biggest thing he has brought to this franchise?  What about this group gives him confidence surge will continue?  Teaching aspects to the younger players.  Players not on the ice (Ladd, Wheeler, Setoguchi, Enstrom) any concerns?  While this is work in progress has to be happy with results.  What does he expect from Carolina?  Little different being in Winnipeg?  More on MTS Centre.  Listening to what players say on the bench.  Finding balanced scoring.

Coach Quotes:

On players missing from practice – “No, my expectations is they will all play!”

On being in Winnipeg – “The loudest building I’ve ever been in was Game 3 of the 02′ Finals cause you could barely hear it.  Certainly if we could ever get Winnipeg into a playoff game I think it would be just as loud.  It’s a special place.”
