Neither Josh Morrissey or Patrik Laine took part in today’s morning skate for the Jets in Edmonton.
Coach Maurice indicated in his media availability that both Morrissey and Laine are not playing tonight.
In response to a question as to whether this is something he worries about past tonight’s game “I’ll list them both as day-to-day and won’t know until we get further along the road.”
Laine left the game on Thursday against the Capitals in Winnipeg after blocking a shot and didn’t return although following the game the Jets bench boss confirmed that there was nothing showing on any of the tests and nothing was broken.
Morrissey hasn’t played since Feb 22 against the Flyers and has missed the last three games and obviously is set to miss his fourth in a row tonight in Edmonton.
