Winnipeg Jets coach Claude Noel pre-game scrum

Following a terrible loss to a division rival last night, coach Noel met with the media to talk about what his team can do better tonight in the re-match against the Capitals.

Coach Noel – Haven’t watched tape yet.  Given different periods to different coaches.  Stuart is game-time decision.  Potential lineup changes.  Pavelec playing tonight.  If on merit, could pull entire team out.  Over analyzing games.  Room has to sort out what they want to do.  No X and O tactical adjustments (“If you can find the coaching manual that has the chapter on this problem, show me!”).  The plan is to play better/harder/etc.  6 pm start time is fine.  He has been in this situation before but because he is older better able to handle it.  Did not address team this morning.
