Who says you can’t go home again? Not Jets 2013 2nd round pick Eric Comrie whose bizarre 2019-20 season takes another twist with the news that he has been claimed by the Jets from the Red Wings who put him on waivers yesterday.
Let’s recap Comrie’s year to date:
– Placed on waivers by Jets on September 30th;
– Claimed by the Arizona Coyotes on October 1st;
– Traded by the Coyotes to the Detroit Red Wings on November 30th;
– Played first NHL game this season for the Red Wings against former team in Winnipeg on December 10th;
– Placed on waivers by Red Wings December 18th.
– Claimed by Jets on December 19th.
