Winnipeg Jets captain Adam Lowry joins the team in yellow, non-contact jersey for AM skate

The Jets are getting set to face the Predators tonight and they are skating at Canada Life Centre. We were chatting with Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press on this morning’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show. who was watching morning skate, and he told us that captain Adam Lowry had joined the skate in a yellow, non-contact uniform.

The captain had been IR skating after offseason hip surgery in late May with J.P. Vigier and fellow injured player Dylan Samberg but this is the first time he has joined his teammates on the ice.

He had told us he was shooting for a late October/early November return. We shall have to wait and see if head coach Scott Arniel has anything to add about his captain.
