The Jets battled back to get a point but the Preds take it in a shootout by a final score of 4-3. Tough to lose a point given the position of Winnipeg. They went 5-2-1 during this long eight-game homestand which has put them closer to a playoff spot.

Notable:
Watching Gabriel Vilardi score his 26th of the season, which is just one off his career high, makes me think what a steal that trade between the Jets and Kings was for Winnipeg when you consider along with Vilardi they got Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari and a 2024 2nd which became Alfons Freij.

Gabriel Vilardi 1G 1A
