Winnipeg Jets & Atlanta Thrashers quarter-century team

The Jets 2.0 history dates back to 2011 when the team was moved from Atlanta to Winnipeg but of course the history of the team down south when they were the Thrashers dates back to the 1999-2000 season when the team first began playing in the NHL.

The NHL is doing quarter century teams and they asked media, retired players and executives to vote which is how they arrived at the following 1st and 2nd teams made up of players who played in both Atlanta and Winnipeg:

1ST TEAM
Ilya Kovalchuk – Mark Scheifele – Blake Wheeler
Josh Morrissey – Dustin Byfuglien
Connor Hellebuyck

2ND TEAM
Kyle Connor – Bryan Little – Nikolaj Ehlers
Toby Enstrom – Jacob Trouba
Ondrej Pavelec

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
