Winnipeg Jets assign Kristian Vesalainen to the Manitoba Moose

Jets prospect Kristian Vesalainen has been a healthy scratch the past couple of games for the Jets and this morning the team announced they would be assigning him to their AHL affiliate the Manitoba Moose.  He had one assist in his five games with the Jets.  This will be a good opportunity for Vesalainen to play big minutes and continue to develop his game at the pro level.

Manitoba is set to take on the Rampage tonight at Bell MTS Place with puck drop at 7 pm and Sunday at 3 pm.  We will have complete coverage as always from both games this weekend.

As always stay tuned for the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news by keeping it locked to illegalcurve.com and on social media including Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.  And you can follow me on twitter as well (@icdave).
