Winnipeg Jets Anthony Peluso to have hearing for hit

Update:  Peluso got a three game suspension.  Read more and watch the NHL explanation here.

Those watching the 2nd period of the Jets 6-4 loss to the Stars saw Anthony Peluso hit Alex Goligoski from behind which resulted in a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct.

Aside from the fact that this led to two power play goals, the question on everyone’s mind was whether there would be subsequent discipline from the league.

Bob McKenzie of TSN answered this question via twitter;

Personally I think he will receive two games.  What do you think? Is this suspension worthy? Should it be just a fine? Both? Neither? Sound off!
