Winnipeg Jets and Maple Leafs game moved back an hour to accommodate Bombers playing in CFL west final

This past weekend in Winnipeg the Jets and Bombers both played games at the same time which led to a lot of grumbling from fans of both teams who were conflicted as to where they wanted to attend a game. The teams too probably felt that hit them with fans being drawn from one venue to the other as a result of the conflict which ultimately costs them money.

Looking ahead to the CFL west final which the 10-1 Blue Bombers will be playing at IG Field on December 5th at 3:30 PM CT there was a Jets and Leafs game scheduled for 6 PM CT in Winnipeg.

Today the Jets announced they, in conjunction with the NHL, have moved the start time to 7 PM CT.  This move should accommodate fans of both teams and allow them to enjoy both games without conflict.
