Winnipeg Jets Afternoon News (Friday, Nov 18th)

Winnipeg Free Press:  Bryzgalov apologizes for anti-Winnipeg rant.  Something tells me it is too little too late.  Don’t expect the fans to forgive the Flyers goalie.  Does this apology mollify you?

Winnipeg Sun:  Bryzgalov sorry for inflammatory comments.  With how loud the MTS Centre can get, if he gives up a goal or two early, expect the Jets faithful to rain down all sorts of comments.

TSN:  Solid win vs. Capitals gives Jets more to build on.  Can the Jets complete the 3 game home sweep.  If they play as well as they did on Monday and Thursday, they will have a good chance to finish off the home stand with another ‘W’.

The Hockey News:  Shane Doan to the Jets?  A reader asks Adam Proteau of The Hockey News if there is any chance that Shane Doan might end up playing for the Winnipeg Jets.  While I don’t see it happening, it would be rather ironic.  The December 1st game against the Coyotes should be an interesting one for the former Jets rookie.
