Globe and Mail (via Canadian Press): Jets fans debate what to do with rookie Scheifele. Everyone is an expert at what is best for the Jets 1st round pick but ultimately the decision rests with the Jets brass.

Drug store News: Lay’s becomes official chip of Winnipeg Jets. Bet Old Dutch is wishing they had snagged that endorsement.

IceCaps News:

Metro: IceCaps open camp in St. John’s. They just had a nice influx of players after today’s Jets cuts.

The Telegram: Concession-line wait time unacceptable. Missing the game to buy (likely) pricey concessions is never going to make the paying public very happy.

Eagles News:

Northern Colorado: Eagles first ECHL camp to start Friday. Anyone want to travel to Anchorage, Alaska to see the Jets ECHL team compete?
