Winnipeg Jets Afternoon News (Fri, Sept. 23rd)

Winnipeg Free Press:  Puck to the head turns out to be a good thing.  A friend of mine who was sitting in this section noticed this when it happened.  Nice PR move by Jets captain Andrew Ladd.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets take off for Nashville, St. John’s.  If you want to check out the rosters for those games, be sure to check it out on IC.

TSN:  TSN Jets channel scores big for Winnipeg opener.   Now that is what I call reaching your audience.

CBC:  Two minutes in the box – meet Winnipeg Jet Patrice Cormier.  A very cool feature run by the CBC giving you a 2 minute intro to your Winnipeg Jets players.  Message to fans “keep doing what you’re doing”.

NHL.com:  Cole never dreamed of NHL game in hometown.  Jets fans will really enjoy hearing the legendary broadcaster call a Jets game again.

Arctic Ice Hockey:  A sour grape whines about the Jets.  I thought the same thing when I read the original article on yahoo.
