TSN: Morrissey returns for ‘benchmark game’ as Jets aim to bring their best against Bruins. Jets defenceman Josh Morrissey, the team’s second-leading points producer with 67, missed his second game in a row with lower-body injury on Tuesday and he spoke about healing up fast and the importance of being back for a massive game against the Bruins tonight.
TSN: They’re proud guys … they’re not gonna sulk: Bowness explains sitting Jets top line. During the Jets’ loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday, head coach Rick Bowness sat his top line during the second period and he shared some insight into why the decision was made and how his players responded to missing some shifts. Kyle Connor said although ‘it sucks’ to not be able to help the team, it will serve as motivation to try and improve and take their game to the next level.
