Winnipeg Free Press:  Critics a tad rough on Buff despite a season of mostly right stuff.  (Paywall).  His game has certainly evolved.  Former NHLer turned scribe with his thoughts on the Jets big man.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets could have stalwart defenceman Jacob Trouba back in the lineup tonight.  After missing 20 games the Jets would get a huge boost tonight if they get one of their top pairing defencemen back into the lineup.  

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jacob Trouba returning to ice tonight against Blackhawks.  (Paywall).  An optimistic headline as coach Maurice indicated that he was possible not 100% but the enthusiasm at the return of number 8 is understandable.

TSN:  Laine loving life with new linemates.  Having scored 10 goals in seven games in March, Jets sniper Patrick Laine is loving life playing with Nikolaj Ehlers and Paul Stastny. The line’s high-powered performance has not been lost on their teammates.
