Winnipeg Sun:  Chiarot fined, avoids suspension.  As we discussed on today’s show we expected nothing more than a fine for the play in yesterday’s game.

NBC Sports (Bay Area):  Sharks wish they had Winnipeg’s luck with the puck.  No doubt that San Jose have to be wondering what it is going to take to start putting the puck into the net at this point in the season.

The Hockey News:  Sharks’ defense is keeping them afloat while the offense struggles to come around.  The Jets opponent has given up the fewest goals in the NHL this season but they have also scored the least amount of goals.
