Jets news:

Sportsnet:  Why the Winnipeg Jets might be ‘better set up’ than the Maple Leafs.  (Audio).  Sportsnet Hotstove host Ben Ennis was joined by John Grigg and Arden Zwelling and they debated which of the two Canadian teams is in better standing for the future.  As an aside has Winnipeg vs. Toronto become an West Coast vs East Coast style rap beef?

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets star centre willing to do whatever it takes to be the best.  (Paywall).  Jeff went really deep on this in-depth look at the top centre for Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets shuffle the deck.  (Paywall).  Mike was down at the MTS Centre and files this report pre-game.

Winnipeg Sun:  Hellebuyck back in net for Jets vs Blues.  Ken also writes this pre-game report.

TSN:  ‘This is definitely a must win for the Jets’.  (Video).  The Jets are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, and Gary Lawless thinks the team can’t look at tonight’s game as anything other than a must win. While Winnipeg hasn’t had any trouble scoring over their last six games, Lawless believes they need to improve defensively if they want to move up the standings.

NHL.com:  Marko Dano, Jacob Trouba return for Winnipeg; St. Louis tries to end four-game losing streak.  Scott gets you set up for tonight’s game with his pre-game piece on the two squads who are both desperate for the points.

Illegal Curve:  Jets vs. Blues pre-game reportTake a look at what the Winnipeg and St. Louis projected lines, D pairs and starting goalies will be for tonight’s game at the MTS Centre.  Audio from Blake Wheeler, Nikolaj Ehlers and Josh Morrissey.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice pre-game scrumWhat is missing from Nic Petan’s game? On why he is going back to Hellebuyck? Was there a change in plan for Pavelec? How do they make four weaknesses (penalties, poor PK, save % and too many chances against) into strengths? How hard is it as a head coach to allow young players to come in and learn but then have to “flip a switch”? Confident that this team can get better defensively? Where are the Jets compared to where he expected them to be at this point? On the Blues. Difference in the Blues without Hitchcock. How does he prevent losing from becoming a habit?
