Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Pavelec out until at least January.  That is a big chunk of change to lose a player for and we are going to see how the young gun goalies in this organization handle the new role and the pressure that comes with same.

Winnipeg Sun:  Pavelec out long term.  Ken provides his thoughts on the injury.

CBC:  Jets confident despite losing Pavelec to injury.  We will now see if the team plays the same way in front of goalie A as they do in front of goalie B and once Hellebuyck gets into the lineup, goalie C.

ESPN:  Drama in Winnipeg for the NHL’s most interesting sixth-place team.  We will certainly see how this team responds to the adversity.

Sportsnet:  Jets quarter mark report.  A look at the good, the bad, trending, bold prediction and a first quarter grade.

Illegal Curve:  Jets vs. Avalanche projected lineupsTake a look at what the lines looked like after skate today and what combos you should expect to see at the MTS Centre this evening.

Illegal Curve:  Jets place Ondrej Pavelec on injured reserve with a significant knee strain.  We won’t be seeing him in December and it sounds like end of January/February is a more likely timeline.
