Jets news:

National Post:  Jets buoyed by Pavelec’s hot streak.  He is becoming like the Flames Miikka Kiprusoff, in that it seems like he plays every single game for this team.  Without the strong play of Ondrej, the Jets wouldn’t be currently positioned where they are in the East.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Starting to see results, team’s confidence growing.  The team has been very impressive since mid February and will look to continue that tonight against the Leafs.

Winnipeg Sun:  Looking to keep rolling against Maple Leafs.  Both the Rangers and Capitals lost already today so the Jets not only can make a gain against the 7th place Leafs, but put further ground between themselves and the teams on the outside looking in.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Noel pre-game at ACC.  Key to road games.  Improvement of the penalty kill.   Being able to match the Leafs physically.  Has the PK been good for improving team confidence.  Is he doing more or less coaching right now?  Does he check the standings often?
