Winnipeg Jets activate Morgan Barron and Cole Koepke from injured reserve

The Jets have been inching closer and closer to full health and with today’s announcement that they have activated Morgan Barron and Cole Koepke off injured reserve they have just one player (Haydn Fleuryconcussion protocol) remaining in the sick bay.

As a result of today’s moves they also announced that they had loaned Nikita Chibrikov, Brad Lambert and Parker Ford to the Moose. Not sure I can recall the AHL club of Manitoba getting that much depth in one fell swoop during the season.

Two weeks ago Barron was labelled as week-to-week after suffering a midbody injury after getting injured in the win over the Penguins. Koepke meanwhile was injured during the six-game road trip in a game against the Sharks.

Winnipeg is back in action tomorrow night when they take on Columbus. Stick with us throughout the day for the latest news on illegalcurve.com for updates and then join us on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after the final buzzer around 9:40 PM CST.
