Winnipeg Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti has been invited to Canada Junior Team Selection Camp

Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti will be joining 45 other Canadian hopefuls at a 28-day selection camp in Red Deer starting November 16 for a chance to play on Canada’s World Junior team.  He is the only Jets draft pick invited to camp.

This will be good for Perfetti as his OHL squad the Saginaw Spirit aren’t expected to get going until the 23rd of January with training camp.  The OHL has a targeted start date of February 4th.

Of course who knows what will happen with Perfetti who could springboard an excellent World Junior tournament potentially into a run in the NHL with the Jets.
